Bergen Kommune Kommune provides basic funding to run MiB- Bergens` indepentent centre for mediaculture. The partnership recently got expanded by including MiB in the amateur culture plan of the municipality. A strategic agreement within the youthprogram „Signatur“ is in it`s implementation.
VestNorskFilmsenter MiB and VNF closely collaborate creating to a millieu for young people interested in film and their involvment in the local media enviorment. VNF supports projects and productions set up and carried out by MiB.

Since 2006 MiB is in a continious partnership arranging activities, filmcourses and workshops for participants of the preventive youthproject „ProVox16+“ -and it´s follow up programs. 60 children aged 12-27 learned to produce their film collectively at MiB.
KHiB MiB and KHiB work as co.producing organizations for Queerfest. On a demand base Mediaverkstedet provides workshops for students of the Art Academy.
Fana Folkehøgskole MiB and Fana Folkehøgskolen work as educational partners for students of the media line in Fana. Arrangements, courses and screenings are especially set up each semester.
